UL Introduces Independent Wearer Trial Service for Apparel Customers
Increase customer satisfaction with thorough pre-store evaluation
Although most manufacturers check the performance of their garments through testing during production, few undertake independent evaluation on aspects such as wearability, fit and comfort. Such properties cannot be measured as readily with standard laboratory tests.
The UL Wearer Trial Service has been designed to be flexible in approach but to deliver extensive, impartial feedback. Manufacturers can specify the nature of the trial, its duration, the wearing or laundering profile to be used and any specific issues of concern.
Demonstrate quality, test for consumer perception
The following attributes help to measure the quality perception of potential consumers of your products:
- Next-to-skin comfort and feel
- Sensory qualities of the fabric
- Product fit and durability
